Father's Day was a fun day as always. We were able to celebrate father's day with my side of the family last Friday evening in Columbus. We all went over to Charlotte's (my sister) and had a cookout. The kids all had fun playing with their cousins.
Sunday we celebrated with Cheryl's family at her parents house. Cheryl had been making a big deal of the gift she got me for father's day. She hid it in our closet behind the door and warned me not to peek at it. She was sure I had already seen it but I hadn't. She kept asking if I knew what it was and kept trying to get me to guess. She knows I like gifts to be a surprise so she was just teasing me.
Well, the time came to give me my gift and she said it was out in the front yard. I walked outside and there sat a very impressive set of OSU cornhole boards. I had been wanting a cornhole set for a year or two now, but I always said I could just make my own set. She knew I'd never get around to making my own so she bought me one.
