Big Buck

Saturday I took this big 10-pt. buck from about 65 yards. He ran 25 yards then dropped. This is the biggest buck I've ever taken. He's got a 19 inch spread between his antlers, which ain't too shabby!

Cool. How do you process the meat?

We process all our deer by ourselves. Basically, Jason makes all the major cuts off the deer...legs, back straps, loins, flank, etc. Steve & I then cut all the meat from the bone. Then we grind all the meat that will be burger and cut all the steaks and package them for the freezer. It takes about 2 hours for us to do 1 deer, but it costs about $200 to have someone else process it.
