Progress around the house has been steady. Cheryl's done a lot of painting, including Jace's dinosaur room, Delaney's Dora room and the coffee themed dining room. If you look closely you can see the sparkles on Delaney's wall. Cheryl put a special sparkle powder in the paint.
We also had the new (correct) fireplace installed as well as new stone installed around it. It looks much better and does a great job heating the house. The piles of topsoil in the front yard are now leveled and make the exterior look a lot nicer.
Cheryl and her mom put up wallpaper border in the living room yesterday. I also got the new mailbox installed yesterday. Work on the deck has been delayed due to a lot of other activities taking place. I hope to get back to work on it Nov. 22...volunteers are welcome!

Heard about the issues you had with the fireplace. Ridiculous. You should add "Ability to put the smackdown on slacker contractors" to your resume.
Yeah, it's been a long process, but worth it. I'm working on a letter that I'll send to the President of the company, complete with photos to back-up my statements.
