Preparing For The Move

We've been spending every minute we have working on getting the house ready for move in.Over the weekend we bought 25 gallons of paint and started painting. We also got the fridge, range and microwave installed.  The dishwasher is next!  We'll continue to paint the basement as well. We've had a tremendous amount of help from Cheryl's parents and grandfather. Jen (our sister in-law) has also been helping by watching our kids in addition to the four she already has. Without the help of family and friends this new house never would have happened. We're truly blessed to have so many people who love us.

Earlier this week I stopped by the house in the morning on the way to work to drop some things off and a doe and her fawn were grazing in the backyard. Later that same day we were at the house painting and a deer came walking up into the back yard. It was about 50 feet from the house just grazing on some weeds. The kids were excited to see it and the dog went nuts too.  I imagine deer in the backyard will be a normal occurance around here. That is, until hunting season comes along!
