House Progress Continues

Last weekend Steve & Howie (Cheryl's dad & grand-father) helped me make steps for the front of the house. This weekend we'll put on a small deck with steps off the  back of the house. These are both code requirements in order to get occupancy. We'll build a bigger deck later this summer after we get moved in.

Here's a quick look at the fireplace mantle that was put on earlier this week. The glass fireplace doors were also installed.

The flooring is underway as we speak. I'll be sure to post pics once that is finished.

Our tentative move date is Saturday, Aug. 2nd. Hopefully we can pass the last of the inspections and get occupancy.
