There's been a lot of progress at the new house since I last posted.
The concrete has all been poured. The basement & garage floors as well as the front porch are all completed - The furnace was also installed.
The well was drilled Tuesday, April 22nd. I was there all day for that. We expected to hit water at about 200 feet, instead it was nearly 300 feet before we had enough water to support our house. 298 feet is the exact depth of our well - providing about 15 gal per minute.
I bought insulation at Lowes's to install in the bathroom and garage walls this past weekend. Cheryl's father and grandfather helped me install some of it on Saturday. I still have to finish 1 bath wall and the garage. The builder insulates exterior walls only. We wanted to insulate the bathrooms so there isn't any unnecessary noise bleeding from those rooms! :) We decided to insulate the garage too.
The garage door went on last week and the siding and porch rails are currently going on the house. The insulation of exterior walls is also slated to begin this week.
Check the photo site as I've added lots of new pics here!

I thought the house looked big from the road, but when I got inside, it seemed every bit of space was all used up!!!! You definitely need every inch for your size family, especially, as they get older. BEAUTIFUL home! I can't wait to see all of Cheryl's decorating touches inside. :-)
